Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Growth involves removing distractions and keeping our focus on Jesus.

- Jesus, who have you sent into my life to be witness of your power and love? Who are you sending me to as a witness of your love and power? Thank God for this.

Lord Jesus, thank you for going to the cross with joy! Thank you for persevering and overcoming for me. I receive all the witnesses you’ve sent and your power that is now flowing through me so that I can run this race.
Lord, I'm turning my eyes away from distractions and back onto you today. You are faithful and trustworthy! Amen.
